Matti Haataja

I am a licensed medical doctor and general practitioner with extensive experience working in both health centers and hospitals. I treat patients of all ages and perform all general practitioner-level procedures. I work broadly with both chronic conditions and acute care. 

In my practice, I perform general practitioner-level procedures such as abscess drainage, joint and muscle injections, removal of moles and skin lesions, partial nail removal and wedge excisions. A consultation before the procedure is advisable. I also treat pediatric patients.

For psychiatric and well-being-related concerns, I recommend booking a double appointment. If the visit is intended to address multiple issues, it is advisable to book a double appointment.

My appointments are also available remotely via phone or video consultation. I renew prescriptions remotely as well, if deemed suitable. I am empathetic and approach my patients’ concerns carefully and comprehensively.
