I’m professor of neurology at University of Turku and chief neurologist at Turku University Hospital. As a part of my postdoctoral training, I have worked at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and therefore I’m also happy to see English-speaking and international patients.
I’m interested in all neurological symptoms and diseases. My main areas of expertise are movement disorders (e.g. Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, restless legs, gait disorders) and neuromodulation therapies (e.g. MR-guided focused ultrasound, deep brain stimulation and transcranial magnetic stimulation).
Please note that I do not treat ADHD or substance use disorders, renew opiates or sleeping pills prescribed by other physicians, or write standard medical certificates for a driver’s license.
